LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - In preparation for the 2026 season, Husker baseball shared its schedule with the public Wednesday.

Overall, Nebraska is set to play 56 games — 23 of those being home games at Haymarket Park in Lincoln.

The schedule features 19 games against at least eight teams who participated in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. To kick off the season, the team will compete in the MLB Desert Invitational on Feb. 13-16 in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a release.

Back at home, the Huskers will take on Omaha on March 3 and South Dakota State on March 4. Big Ten play will start at home against Michigan State from March 6-8.

Other local matchups include the first I-80 battle with Creighton at Charles Schwab on March 31 and in Lincoln on April 14. Nebraska will host Iowa this year for
