LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - The Nebraska Hospital Association is echoing national advocates in warning about the lack of telehealth services available during the federal government shutdown .

“Important telehealth waivers were not extended past the September 30th deadline, threatening the availability of telehealth services for Nebraska seniors,” the NHA said in a news release on Thursday.

As the federal government shutdown is impacting Medicare, hospitals are having to reschedule such visits.
