This announced strike authorization comes just one week after HACC faculty rejected a proposed contract from HACC’s current administration with 91% voting against accepting the contract proposal.
According to HACCEA, this recent vote now gives HACCEA's elected executive committee the authorization to call a strike when it deems necessary.
Per Pennsylvania Act 195, this strike can be called at any time without notice.
