CLINTON CO., Iowa (KWQC) - The Clinton County Sheriff Office’s non-emergency phone line is unable to take calls Thursday.

There are no problems with E911 systems and all 911 calls are being answered immediately, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said.

For non-emergency calls to the sheriff’s office, callers can dial 563-243-1458 and press option #1.

Officials said the voice will say callers are dialing the Clinton Police Department but option #1 will transfer them to the sheriff’s office.

The phone company is working to correct the issue, officials said. They are unsure of when service will be restored.
