Today: Plenty of sunshine is expected through the afternoon with highs likely reaching the low-to-mid-80s. Along the eastern border, readings may stay closer to the upper 70s with a weak wedge flow setup.

A rogue shower or two cannot be ruled out across far southern areas, but most locations should remain dry.

The Next 24 Hours: Clear skies tonight should allow for a quick cool down, with lows likely falling into the upper 50s north and near 60 elsewhere. Friday looks pleasant with sunshine and highs expected to be close to the lower 80s.

SIDELINE Forecast: Kickoff temperatures should be in the mid-to-upper 70s under mostly clear skies, dropping into the upper 60s by the final whistle. Conditions look favorable for high school football
