Duke basketball coach Jon Scheyer has signed a two-year contract extension, the school announced Oct. 2.

Scheyer , 38, is entering his fourth season as leader of the Blue Devils and Mike Krzyzewski’s successor. His second contract extension, first reported by ESPN, takes his contract through the 2030-31 season.

In the first three seasons, Scheyer led the program to three ACC championships, including a pair of ACC Tournament titles, two Elite Eight appearances and a Final Four berth.

"Jon's remarkable impact over his first three seasons has positioned Duke Basketball for sustained excellence, and we are proud to ensure his leadership well into the future," Duke athletics director Nina King said in a school-issued statement.
