Target is giving Swifties a chance to get their hands on Taylor Swift's " The Life of a Showgirl " the minute it becomes Oct. 3.

"Swifties, this one’s for you," Target said in a news release . "Because shopping for an album at Target isn’t just about getting the music — it’s about the anticipation, the connection, and the shared joy that comes with each release."

In a statement, Cassandra Jones, senior VP of merchandising for Target, said "every album release is a chance to celebrate with our guests."
