A Surrey-registered massage therapist has been reprimanded for vaping in a "clinical setting" and using his phone while treating patients.
Shaminder Sangha, RMT, admitted to the inquiry committee of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, while treating an undercover investigator on Dec. 17, 2024, that he used his phone multiple times without the investigator's knowledge or consent. This includes "using his cellphone with his right hand while massaging the investigator's back with his left hand."
The visit from the undercover investigator stemmed from an investigation initiated by the committee on Nov. 22, 2024.
