Duke men's basketball head coach Jon Scheyer has been extended through the 2030-31 season, with his new deal adding two years to a previous extension reached in 2023, the school announced on its official athletics website Thursday (October 2).
Scheyer, 38, a former Duke guard from 2006-2010, who served as team captain during his senior season, was hired as the successor to his former coach Mike Krzyzewski in 2022 and led the Blue Devils to a Final Four appearance, as well as ACC regular season and ACC Tournament titles in 2025.
