Clayton Oliver looms as another high-profile Melbourne star set to switch clubs during the AFL trade period after being told to explore his options elsewhere.
Oliver had his exit meeting with new Demons coach Steven King on Thursday and was reportedly told to seek a fresh start at another club.
It came as King could not guarantee the four-time Melbourne best-and-fairest winner midfield time next year.
Fellow 2021 premiership stars Christian Petracca and Steven May, as well as Judd McVee, also appear headed for the exit door.
Oliver, 28, is contracted for the next five seasons on a deal that would earn him more than $1 million per year.
