LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The second of three men convicted in the death of Crystal Rogers is now in a state prison.
Steven Lawson was transferred from the LaRue County Detention Center to the Kentucky State Reformatory in La Grange.

Lawson was sentenced to 17 years after being found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence in the death of Rogers. The sentence imposed by Nelson Circuit Judge Charles Simms does not carry a chance of parole.

On October 1, Lawson’s son, Joseph Lawson, was transferred from the Nelson County Jail to Little Sandy Correction
