PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - Three juveniles are in custody after reports of an armed robbery, including the teen who called it in.
According to Paducah police, they responded to the 3400 block of Minnich Avenue on Wednesday, October 1 for a reported armed robbery.
Officers say a 15-year-old initially told them he was walking down the street when a black passenger car stopped beside him. He said two suspects got out of the vehicle, assaulted him and took his cell phone.
He told police that during the incident, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him.
Police found two juveniles matching the suspect descriptions in the 2700 block of Harrison Street.
They recovered the first juvenile’s cell phone and student identification card from the suspects. They also found a black .40 caliber handgun
