SURPRISE, Ariz. — Multiple vehicles were involved in a traffic collision reported Thursday morning in the West Valley.

The Surprise Police Department said the crash occurred in the area of Bell Road and Sunrise Boulevard. Multiple people involved in the collision were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries or precautionary measures, police said.

Sky12 footage shows the involved vehicles sustained significant damage.

Access to the intersection may be restricted as police investigate the collision.
