LUBBOCK, Texas -- On Thursday, The Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center announced it assisted the Lamesa Police Department with a crime suppression operation from September 26 through 27 that resulted in more than two dozen arrests.

A press release said the operation included sex offender compliance, traffic stops, arrests and narcotics seizers. TAG said 246 traffic stops and 27 arrests were made. Authorities completed 34 sex offender compliance checks. TAG said 17.5 grams of methamphetamine were seized.

The TAG website has educational information on criminal gangs, a Top Ten Most Wanted List and allows community members to anonymously report criminal and gang related activity.
