LUBBOCK, Texas--The Hispanic Women's Network of Texas (HWNT), a statewide organization dedicated to empowering women and supporting education, recently celebrated its first year in Lubbock. As the 10th chapter in Texas, HWNT is quickly making an impact in West Texas by focusing on mentorship, cultural education, and community collaboration.

Mentorship Program for High School Seniors

One of the cornerstone initiatives of HWNT Lubbock is its seven-month mentorship program designed specifically for high school seniors. The program pairs students with community leaders and provides monthly workshops on essential topics such as financial literacy, leadership, health and wellness, FAFSA and essay writing, and practical life skills.
