The Sherwood Park Crusaders continued their undefeated start to the regular season, defeating defending champions, the Brooks Bandits 7-3 at Sherwood Park Arena on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The Crusaders have won their first three games, scoring at least six goals in each while allowing no more than three.

Cru captain Stevie Grumley expressed satisfaction with the team’s early success but urged caution; “The team is feeling great about our start, but I think everyone in the room knows that we’re only three games into the year. So, in the grand scheme of things, it’s hardly anything, and we have to stay focused and continue to improve.”
