MANSFIELD, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after two pedestrians were hit by a car in Mansfield on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews responded to Oakland Street around 9:45 a.m. for reports of a crash.
According to police, the driver of a white Honda Accord drove up onto the sidewalk, hitting a man and a woman.
The man was flown to Rhode Island Hospital with a head injury and the woman was taken by ambulance to Boston Medical Center – South.
Oakland Street was shut down between Swett and Shields streets, but has since reopened.
