A paraplegic metro man fears for his safety after he was burglarized twice in one month. Alan Prudhome believes the suspects targeted his apartment because of his disability.

The victim said the suspects stole cash, medicine and thousands of dollars in property, including a wheelchair and hand controls he used to help him drive.

The front door of Alan Prudhome's southeast Oklahoma City apartment still bears the marks from the first break-in last month.

"Someone had pried the door open, went in and stole my TVs, my laptop, my computer," said Prudhome. "Took a bunch of random things."

Prudhome made a police report thinking it was a one-time incident but one week later he had a rude awakening.

"I wake up to somebody trying to take my bag off me that I keep everything in," said Prudhome.
