WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - UPDATE: Ekinci has been located by police.

West Haven police are looking for a missing 30-year-old man.

Police say Furkan Ekinci was last seen on foot leaving his home on Spruce Street at around 9:30 p.m. last night.

“Furkan’s cell phone is Wi-Fi only, and attempts to contact him through it have been unsuccessful,” police said.

Police say Furkan also suffers from a medical condition. He has been entered as a missing person and a purple alert has been issued.

Furkan is white, around 6 feet tall, 180 lbs., with long black hair styled in braids and a black beard.

He was last seen wearing black pants and a jacket, possibly red and black.
