QUINCY (WGEM) - The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has had 10 Flock cameras spread out around the county for about three months.

Chief Deputy Patrick Frazier, of Adams County Sheriff’s Office, said the cameras have been a big help to the sheriff’s office already and will likely continue to help in the future.

“What we’re seeing them already doing for us is they’re allowing us to identify vehicles that we may not have been able to identify that have been involved in different types of crimes,” Frazier said. “It’s like having extra sets of eyes.”

Some are concerned about the data the cameras collect. However, Frazier said the data collected is only used for crimes and after a certain period of time, it is deleted from the system.
