BRAINERD — Bridges of Hope announces the launch of its 17th annual Thanksgiving Basket Program. The initiative brings together individuals, families, churches, service groups and businesses throughout the region to ensure families facing hardships can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
Last year alone, Bridges of Hope and its community partners distributed close to 200 meals, providing families in need with everything necessary for a traditional holiday meal.
“Each year, we are inspired by the way our community comes together to care for one another,” Executive Director Jana Shogren said. “The Thanksgiving Basket Program is a beautiful reminder that when we share what we have, we help create brighter holidays for families who might otherwise go without.”
