The North Bay Battalion has traded goaltender Charlie Larocque to the Sarnia Sting, the Ontario Hockey League club announced Thursday. North Bay receives Sarnia’s sixth-round pick in the 2029 OHL Priority Selection for Larocque, a six-foot-three, 181-pound Ottawa native who turned 18 on July 16. Larocque was the first of two sixth-round picks by the Battalion in 2023 from the Carleton Place Canadians U18s. In his only appearance this season, he posted a 4-3 overtime win Sept. 19 over the host Sudbury Wolves.
