COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - There are about two months left in the Atlantic hurricane season. Things have been relatively quiet for Texas and the Brazos Valley, as we haven’t had anything tropical hit landfall.

John Nielsen-Gammon has been a state climatologist for 25 years. He’s also the director of the Southern Regional Climate Center.

“It’s basically a roll of the dice from here on out,” said Nielsen-Gammon.
