LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A large warm dry airmass occupies the southern Great Plains south through southern Texas. This will be characterized by very warm days with low humidity and mild dawns. There are indications that the lower atmosphere will gradually become more moist. This will be seen with more cumulus clouds in our afternoon skies and somewhat warmer dawns this weekend. The moist air will deepen in depth early/mid next week, bringing the possibility of scattered showers.
