WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Sedgwick County Election Commissioner, Laura Rainwater, spoke about the upcoming election at Wichita Mayor Lily Wu’s media briefing on Thursday morning.

The fifth election of the year is coming up, and Rainwater covered important dates for the election.

If you haven’t registered to vote, or need to update your voter registration due to a change in name or address, the deadline to register is Oct. 14.

If you would like to vote by mail, you must submit an application. The mail ballot application deadline is Oct. 28 and can be accessed here.

Early in-person voting is available at the election office on Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
