SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — Heading into the 2025 season, head football coach of Captain Shreve Jeremy Wilburn, emphasized how the Gators would approach this year with a tough mentality. So far, his team has met that challenge, especially the running back group.

"We've won games in different ways and that's kind of a bright spot as far as a coach, you know, you wanna know that you're not a one trick pony, that, you know, we need to throw it, we can throw it, we need to run it, we can run it, we need to play defense, we can blow up and play defense," Wilburn said. "We've shown that ability and I think that that's kind of the trademark of who I want us to be and who I think that we can be."
