It’s one of the many really awful things you never want to happen when you’re a band on tour.
The New Zealand-based band The Beths said in a post earlier this week on social media that several of the instruments and other gear were stolen while they were touring in France.
“Our guitars, bass guitar, cymbals, snare, and my pedal board were stolen last night from our van in Tourcoing in France, near Lille. Along with the entire rented backline,” the post said.
Among the stolen instruments was a rare Burns Club Series Double Six 12-string electric and a custom handmade guitar by Trent Guitars.
“We’re pretty sad, these instruments have a lot of time and love in them. More than we can express really,” the band said.
The band also asked fans to keep an eye out for the gear and contact them
