Emergency crews in Mifflin County responded to a farm Thursday afternoon after a man was attacked by a bull, according to county 911 dispatchers.
The attack happened around 3 p.m. at an Amish farm along the 100 block of East Main Street in Menno Township, dispatchers said.
After emergency crews arrived in the area, a helicopter was requested on standby.
The injured man told first responders he thinks he suffered a collapsed lung, but the extent of his injuries remains unclear.
Dispatchers noted the man had bruising and swelling on his back and was having difficulties breathing. First responders also said the bull rammed the man with its head.
