There’s one team in the NFL without a rushing touchdown four weeks into the season: The 49ers.

While that might be surprising to some or potentially signify a struggling offensive group, San Francisco’s general manager John Lynch believes it’s largely due to the amount of attention teams are paying to the 49ers’ rushing attack, namely All-Pro Christian McCaffrey .

“I think everybody knows, everyone at the top, you sit in these meetings when you’re playing the Niners and I’m sure right at the top of the list ‘we’ve got to stop Christian McCaffrey and the Niners' run game,’ so it’s an emphasis,” Lynch told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco on the latest episod
