Cross Lanes day care teacher, owner sentenced in incident involving disabled child

A Cross Lanes day care teacher was sentenced last month to a term of one to five years after pleading guilty to abuse of a disabled child.

Amber Elizabeth Seiler, 30, worked at the Cross Lanes Child Care and Learning Center in 2024 when she was charged with felony battery and assault of a disabled child and misdemeanor battery. She pleaded guilty in July to the felony charge. Legal Affairs
