CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - If you were outside Wednesday evening, you may have spotted a bright object streaking across the sky in Massachusetts, but what was it?

22News viewer Scott Santerre in Chicopee saw something mysterious flying in the sky and submitted the video. Scott said, "Not really sure what I caught on my ring camera. Shooting star? Goes for a bit though, maybe meteor?"

The Ring camera footage looking toward Ludlow was recorded at around 7:15 p.m. More than 40 people in Massachusetts reported seeing a fireball Wednesday night, according to the American Meteor Society.
