TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A 23-year-old woman from Muscle Shoals died in a crash in Tuscaloosa County Oct. 1 around 1:10 p.m.

Authorities have identified the victim as Alexis N. Randolph. She was killed when the SUV she was a passenger in left the road and hit an embankment, according to ALEA.

Randolph was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The driver of the SUV and another passenger were taken to UAB Hospital for their injuries. Authorities say they were also not wearing their seatbelt.

The crash happened on Rabbitt Ridge Road near Davis Creek Road, around three miles south of Lake View, in Tuscaloosa County.
