It’s been a long time since superhero fans have gotten a taste of Sam Raimi’s spider-verse. Spider-Man enthusiasts were excited to see Tobey Maguire return as the masked hero in the MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home . However, hopes for a new movie have waned over the years.

Now, rumors are heating up about a fourth installment of the series as Batman writer Mattson Tomlin expressed his interest for a potential collaboration with the acclaimed filmmaker.

After a fan account joked “Here’s your money to write the script” in reference to a fourth film, Tomlin replied, “Trying!” When asked if he was in contact with Raimi, Tomlin echoed the same response.
