San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity hosted the organization’s Raise the Roof Gala on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Le Meridien in Arcadia.

Organization officials said the event raised more than $400,000 that will be used to help SGV Habitat rebuild homes for underinsured families impacted by the Eaton fire.

The gala drew more than 260 guests, ranging from celebrities to local elected leaders. They included John and Caitlin Stamos, state Sen. Susan Rubio, Monrovia Mayor Becky Shevlin, Altadena Town Council Chair Victoria Knapp, Altadena Sheriff Captain Ethan Marquez, the SGV Habitat Board of Directors, Eaton Fire Survivors, and the evenings honorees: Loryn Dunn Arkow from Hogan Lovells LLP; the Altadena Builds Back Foundation and Totten Tubes.
