Deputy Chief of Operations Rick "Ricky" Boatwright is retiring after 27 years of service to the Chattanooga Fire Department.

Rick "Ricky" Boatwright retires after 27 years

He has been a member of the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association Local 820 since he started with the CFD and also served as an instructor for Urban Search and Rescue.

For 17 years, he's been a burn coordinator for the International Association of Fire Fighters, training firefighters and health professionals on burn injuries and advocating for safe practices to prevent burns.
