New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has shown remarkable potential this season. Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott, who will face off against the young talent on Sunday, holds him in high regard.

“Very impressed,” McDermott said Wednesday, via Carlos A. Lopez. “There’s probably not much that he can’t do. He can throw it, he can run it, he can scramble. He’s off to a great start. I’m sure they feel good about him as an organization as well.”

McDermott has been keeping an eye on Maye from a distance throughout this year, but last season, he faced him head-to-head in two matchups. In Week 16, Maye started against Buffalo, racking up 261 passing yards and throwing two touchdown passes. The Patriots came up short, losing 24-21.
