MIDLAND, MI – A mid-Michigan man is facing felony charges for allegedly possessing and distributing child sexually abusive material.
Adam Lee Owen, 48, of Midland, was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, distribution and promotion of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime, according to a Michigan State Police (MSP) news release.
Owen was arraigned Wednesday, Oct. 1, in 75th District Court.
MSP began investigating Owen after learning the Midland man had been allegedly sharing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet. Police reportedly seized digital evidence from Owen’s home, leading to his arrest.
