CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians made history in the regular season by overcoming a 15 1/2-game deficit to claim their third American League Central Division title in four years.
But when the chips were down in October, it was the team they originally beat out — the Detroit Tigers — who came away with the last laugh.
