CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — News 8's journey on the Connecticut Pizza Trail continues.

On Thursday, people boarded the bus and headed to the shoreline, visiting Pizza Palace in Old Saybrook, Coastline Brewing in Westbrook, and Grand Apizza in Clinton.

"Coming from New York City, you know we like to say we have the best pizza, and while I do love New York City pizza, I will say that being here in New Haven and trying those different flavors and even the spicy sausage at Sally's, the spicy meatball at Sally's was just so yummy," Mariah Thomas said, a writer from New York City.
