AKRON, Ohio — The family of 15-year-old Jazmir Tucker says they are devastated after a Summit County grand jury declined to indict the Akron police officer who fatally shot him last November.
“This is no justice out here, for police to murder my grandson like that and nothing get done about it. I’m hurt, man,” Tucker’s grandfather, Gary Garen, said. “I haven’t been the same since they killed him.”
