Shelbourne boss Joey O’Brien says that emotional personal stories of how far the club has come helped inspire his team ahead of their historic Conference League clash against Hacken.

Shels kicked off their first-ever league phase campaign with a hard-fought point against the Swedish Cup champions, banking €133,000 in the process to add to their €3.8m price pot.
