HARTFORD, Conn. — A business initiative with past success is returning to Hartford’s Dunkin’ Park next week, according to a release from the Yard Goats.
The ballpark on Main Street will host the Black-Owned Business Expo next Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
More than 50 vendors are expected to participate in the event, which is a collaboration between the minor league baseball team and the Sto Black Business Collective.
Next Thursday will mark the fifth time that the event has been held at Dunkin’ Park. The first edition was held there in February 2023.
The theme on Oct. 9 is “Black To the Future,” and the initiative is free and open to the public. It will occur inside the park’s YG Club.
Those who attend can purchase apparel, products and services from the dozens of vendors re
