TOLLESON, Ariz. — Police are looking for a suspect who they say attempted to kidnap a child in the West Valley, according to authorities.
The Tolleson Police Department said the attempted kidnapping happened on Sept. 29, near 87th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
The man grabbed a girl by her arm and attempted to drag her away, but she was able to escape his grasp, police said.
"The child pulled away safely, and the suspect fled eastbound on Van Buren Street," police said.
Security cameras were able to help police identify the man and and officers are searching for him.

Caucasian male
30–40 years old
Brown hair
Brown eyes
Full beard and goatee
Police said the man is dangerous and should not be approached.
