EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The 23rd annual Chili Bowl took place at the University of Evansville on Thursday.

According to organizers, the ceramic bowls are made by university artists and included a complimentary serving of chili. Organizers say everything sold out within five minutes.

Organizers say proceeds support local hunger relief efforts through the Empty Bowls Initiative. This year's proceeds will go to Patchwork Central in Evansville and East Gibson Food Pantry.
