VERMILION, Ohio (WJW) -- Even caterpillars need a little help from a great stylist to look their best. Especially since Woolford the woolly bear is about to become the center of attention.

It's woolly bear time. A fall festival that is a great, grand, goofy gaggle of goodness. And you can add one more "G" word to that list: Goddard, the guy who got it all going.

"It's tradition. Goddard has made a tradition of this legacy of his, and when he decided to get into the folklore of the woolly bear, he never in a million years thought it was going to grow like this," Vermilion Chamber of Commerce President Sandy Coe said.

The annual Woollybear Festival is the biggest one-day festival in Ohio. It's a good time to highlight everything that Vermilion has to offer.
