Author Dr. Tim Holder spoke on “How Early Presidents Handled Adversities” to the Samuel Doak Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at their meeting last weekend held at the Davy Crockett Restaurant in Morristown.
He talked about three of the presidents: Andrew Jackson, George Washington, and Theodore Roosevelt, and how they overcame their adversities.
Dr. Holder has written several books on the lives of the presidents, some of which are displayed in the picture provided with the story.
