It may be time to check your freezer again. Another frozen shrimp recall has been announced, according to the FDA.
Sea Port is recalling a limited amount of its raw frozen shrimp after concerns that the product could be contaminated with a radioactive isotope. The recall affects easy-peel jumbo white shrimp sold to small retailers in six western states and American Samoa between July 10 and September 22.
Consumers who purchased the product are urged to throw it away or return it to the store for a refund.
So far, no illnesses or health issues linked to the shrimp have been reported.
