KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two firefighters are injured after crews with the Rural Metro Fire Department responded to a fire at 402 North Cedar Bluff Rd. that occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Rural Metro said the fire started in the Coin Laundry but extended to Pastelitos Cuban Bakery, which is in the same building.

When crews arrived at the Coin Laundry, they reported heavy fire from the front side of the Coin Laundry spreading to the roof.

Business in the same building as the laundromat suffered some smoke and water damage, but the extent of the damage is in the laundry mat, according to Rural Metro. All people in the businesses had safely evacuated the premises before Rural Metro arrived.
