SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - City leaders are outlining a transformative vision for the Glenwood area, aiming to create a vibrant community hub.
They are focusing on developing spaces where people can live, work, and gather, which was the central discussion in a joint meeting, held at Roaring Rapids in Springfield on October 2nd at noon.
The project spans 47 acres and plans to allocate 30 to 60 percent of the area for residential use, targeting about 12 units per acre. Commercial spaces, including offices and businesses, will take up 10 to 30 percent, with the rest dedicated to public right of way and park spaces.
