LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — New data shows some schools in the Clark County School District are overcrowded, despite a district announcement that enrollment has dropped this academic year compared to the previous year.
Some of the overcrowded schools share a few traits. They are four- or five-star schools, students score high in math and reading scores, and they're in the suburbs.
Two schools especially illustrate that point.
Vassiliadis Elementary School and Piggott Academy of International Studies are two overcrowded five-star schools, according to the district's data.
